What WiFi gear do you use for business?
For business we install Ubiquiti UniFi — enterprise-grade access points, switches and gateways managed from one dashboard. It’s the same platform we run across the Ipswich IT Services group, so we know it inside out.
Will WiFi reach the whole site?
We do a coverage design, and on larger sites a heat-map survey, so access points are placed for wall-to-wall coverage — including warehouses, sheds, stairwells and outdoor areas — instead of hoping one router in the corner reaches everywhere.
Can staff and guests be kept separate?
Yes. We split guest WiFi onto its own network with its own password or captive portal, so visitors get internet without ever touching your business systems, EFTPOS or servers.
Does business WiFi work with my phones?
Absolutely — a properly designed network keeps softphones, WiFi calling and cordless handsets rock-solid as staff move around the building. That’s exactly why we like to design the phones and the WiFi together.
